Privacy policy
How your account, applications and browsing choices are handled.
What we collect
Account details you provide (email address and display name), your Discord username if you add it, the answers you submit in applications, and content you choose to publish such as profile settings or gallery uploads. If you sign in with Google we receive only your basic account identity — never your password.
How it is used
To operate your account, review applications, run departments and businesses, and moderate the community. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who can see your data
Your application answers are visible to you and to approved review staff only. Staff access is restricted by role, and every review action is recorded against the reviewer's account. If Discord alerts are enabled, staff receive a notification containing the application type and applicant name in a private staff channel.
How accounts are protected
Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form and never visible to staff. Data access is enforced at the database level so one member cannot read another member's applications, notes or private profile fields. Sessions are kept in your browser and can be ended at any time by signing out.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect your account. Preference and usage-measurement storage is opt-in and can be changed at any time from the cookie policy page.
What is public
Only what you enable. Public profiles, character names and affiliations are opt-in and can be turned off at any time. Email addresses are never shown publicly.
Retention and removal
Account data is kept while your account is active. Applications are kept as a review record while you are a member. You can ask us to delete your account and submissions through support, and we will confirm once it is done.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for corrections, withdraw consent for optional cookies, or ask for deletion. Down Draft Roleplay is an 18+ community; accounts are only for players aged 18 or over.

For any privacy request — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion — open a support ticket in the Down Draft Discord at discord.gg/downdraftrp and mark it as a privacy request. Requests are answered within 30 days. This policy applies from the date shown below and will be updated here whenever it changes.
