Rulebook Update: Supply Drops, Reports And Police Engagement
The full DDRP rulebook has been rewritten and expanded, including a new rule covering law enforcement at KOS supply drops.
The Down Draft rulebook has been rewritten into thirteen clear categories covering character conduct, reporting, roleplay standards, criminal activity, emergency services, driving, factions and businesses.
The headline addition is rule 8.4, covering law enforcement at KOS supply drops. Police are not automatic participants in a drop and normal initiation rules still apply. Officers may respond to reports of gunfire or a call for service, and once actively intervening they can be treated as any other hostile party. Officers should not open fire purely because a drop is contested, and may seize the drop as evidence. Any officer who is downed and revived cannot return to that scene.
Reporting standards are unchanged but now stated plainly: player reports require a minimum two minute clip, must be raised within twenty four hours, and are handled after the scene rather than during it. Anti-cheat appeals also require a clip, with no exceptions.
Everything else players already know remains in force — stay in character at all times, never take out of character issues into a scene, and value your character's life.
The complete rulebook is published on the rules page and is the single source of truth for enforcement.
